Xita processes dictation on your Mac. Dictated audio, transcripts, selected text, and generated drafts are not sent to Xita or Xiy servers by the app.

Xita uses local files and Keychain on your Mac to keep app settings, trial state, and lifetime access status. Purchases are handled by the App Store through StoreKit.

When iCloud is available, Xita syncs user dictionary entries, name corrections, and usage statistics through your private iCloud CloudKit database so your Macs can stay consistent. Core dictation continues to work without iCloud.

If you submit a bug report, feature request, contact message, or newsletter signup on this website, we store the details you enter so we can respond and improve Xita.

We do not sell your personal information, show ads, or use your app data for tracking.
